One day we are all going to look back and see things clearly...VERY CLEARLY!
There may be some things that cause us confusion and pain right now, but it won't last. No circumstance in this old world lasts forever.
Once we are in eternity...let me write that again- ETERNITY... there is only one thing that will matter.
To know and be known by Jesus Christ!

My parents are with the Lord- what an amazing thought! Every pain they suffered, every rejection they faced, every financial loss- everything "good" or "bad", it has all been put into perspective. Eternity's perspective.

That which does last and that which doesn't last. The question we all need to answer, before it is answered for us.
This day, this little twenty-four hour blink-of-an-eye, needs to be into its place in our hearts.
"Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he is us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
And we know and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." 1 John 4:13-16

One day we are all going to look back and see things clearly... VERY CLEARLY!

In His time, in His way

It always amazes me how patient the Lord is with us. He is ready and waiting to use me~ in His time, in His way.
His time : End of a long, hard, tiring day.
His way: I'm at a thrift store with two of my girls and just wanting to check out and get home...the lady behind the counter begins to share how tired she is, how many hours she works, just so she can keep her two boys with her. Etc. and then before I can even think to formulate anything to say- I'm talking. Or maybe I should say, the Lord just wanted to use my mouth... Anyways, out comes, " Wow, you must be tired, I have ten children and something I have learned is that I need Jesus. I need Him every moment, and He is so faithful to help me. We just have to cry out to Him." She leaned across the counter and whispered "How many children?" I just smiled and whispered/mumbled back "Ten" ( that little fact can be so distracting to folks)
Her countenance was so open, and I was so grateful to the Lord for that precious moment. I pray that the Lord brings this eternal soul to Himself in salvation.
We never know when the Lord will want to use us. Be instant in season, out of season. 2 Tim.4:2
May we be ready, not for the "right time"- but for His time!

Welcome!

"There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky. The eternal God is thy refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms:" Deuteronomy 33:26-27a

How thankful I am for my ETERNAL GOD!

"Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou are God." Psalm 90:2
